Trip Overview

Mount Annapurna is the 10th highest peak in the world and the journey towards its base camp is breathtaking. Annapurna Base Camp Trekking as it is called is one of the famous treks in the world. The place is a wonder of nature with alluring waterfalls, scenic landscapes, farmlands that gaze the skies, rhododendron forest, villages and snow shrouded mountain top standing high and mighty. The route is a seraphic experience to encounter and also the altitudes are quite moderate so any problems of high altitudes are not likely.

We drive down to Pokhara from Kathmandu and stay there for the night. Pokhara is a beautiful city enchanted with lakes and eye-catching landscapes. From there a short drive towards Nayapul is the place where our trekking commences. The route to Annapurna Base Camp is laden with frondescence forests and the view of the mountains is compelling. The forests we came across were an evergreen wonder with oak, rhododendron and bamboo giving life to each forest. On the journey towards Annapurna Base Camp, we walk along Tikhedhunga, Ghorepani, Tadapani and Chhomrong. The sunrise along with the panoramic view of ten mountain ranges at Poonhill is something that gives warmth and overwhelms our heart with euphoria.
