The base camp trail passes through lush green forest, vibrant red rhododendron forest, cascading waterfalls, diverse landscape and ethnic villages of Gurung and Magar community. Trek to Poonhill (3210m) and behold the splendid sunrise view over majestic Himalayas. Walk past small villages like Tadapani, Chhomrong and Deurali. Summit Macchapuchre base camp ahead of Annapurna base camp and capture the astounding views of Macchapuchre (6993m). The silver mountain smiling back at you in your presence is a deal breaker of this trek. Enjoy the unobstructed views of Annapurna I (8091 m), Annapurna South (7219 m), Annapurna III (7855m), Machhapuchhare (6993 m), Annapurna IV (7525 m), Annapurna II (7937 m) and Lamjung Himal (6931 m) from the base camp before heading back to Dovan for overnight stay. A surprising hot spring bath awaits you as you descend to Jhinu danda. Release the pain, fatigue and lethargy of the trek and make your way to the beautiful city Pokhara.
