The thrill, the adventure, the dangers, the stories, the sacrifices, and the exploit of famous names like Hillary and Tenzing Norgay have put this mountain at the top of the list for many aspiring climbers. But, this region is not only for expert mountaineers anymore. The trek to Everest Base Camp is now an achievable dream for many. Thus, Everest base camp trek has become the most popular trekking trip in Nepal. The stunning scenery or the spectacular vistas aren’t the only specialities of this region. The trek also gives you a glimpse of the Sherpa culture and history, through the several beautiful villages and colourful monasteries you will visit along the way. The trail is filled with high swinging bridges decorated with prayer flags, colourful prayer wheels and stupas, milky rivers, and the breathtaking views of the mountains, which make the trek immensely pleasurable. The trek offers you everything- natural beauty, captivating culture, hospitality, and sense of achievement; all these make the Everest Base Camp trek one of the world’s best treks.

Itinerary

  • Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu (1,300m), transfer to hotel, welcome dinner
  • Day 2: Fly to Lukla and Trek to Phakding.
  • Day 3: Trek from Phakding to Namche (3,440m)
  • Day 4: Namche Bazaar: day rest
  • Day 5: Trek from Namche to Tengboche (3,870m)
  • Day 6: Trek from Tengboche to Dingboche (4,360m)
  • Day 7: Dingboche: day rest
  • Day 8:  Trek from  Dingboche to Duglha
  • Day 9: Trek from Dulha to Lobuche (4,940m)
  • Day 10: Trek from Lobuche to Gorak Shep (5,170m), hike to EBC (5,364m)
  • Day 11: Hike to Kala Patthar (5.545m) and trek to Pheriche (4,280m)
  • Day 12: Trek from Pheriche to Namche Bazaar (3,440m)
  • Day 13: Trek from Namche Bazaar to Lukla (2,800m)
  • Day 14: Fly from Lukla to Kathmandu
  • Day 15: Stay in Kathmandu
  • Day 16: Final departure transfer

  • Extra night accommodation facility in Kathmandu because of the early arrival, early return from the mountain before the scheduled time due to some reasons and late departure.

  • Personal expenses like phone calls, bar bills, laundry, extra porters, boiled water, battery recharge, and shower etc.
  • Tips for the porters and guides.

The Tenzing Hillary Airport/Lukla Airport in the Mount Everest region is the gateway to one of the most popular trekking routes in the Himalayas - The Everest Base Camp Trek.The weather conditions in the mountain region of Nepal can change rapidly and aviation schedules are not as reliable as you might expect. The flight between Kathmandu and Lukla is frequently delayed and maybe cancelled for the day or several days in succession. In the event your flight is cancelled we will either rebook your flight for the following day or attempt to get you on a chartered helicopter. Guests are responsible for the extra costs of helicopter flights which cost from USD400- USD600 per person. It is recommended to apportion one or two extra days in case your flight gets cancelled and you are in short of scheduled time. In other cases, road transportation can be an option which takes 4-5 extra days.

Please Note:

  • If we rebook your ticket it's likely you will be on a lower priority flight during the peak trekking seasons. This is out of our control as the earlier morning flights will have already been booked months in advance.
  • If the flight is canceled then all extra expenses like airport transfers, accommodation, meals should be born by clients.

NO REFUND FOR INCOMPLETE OR EARLY COMPLETE TRIP

No refund will be made to clients who drop out from the journey due to natural disaster, political issues, regardless of whatever portions remain unused in the itinerary and who finished the trip earlier days than mentioned in the itinerary.
