Located on a high mountain ridge at an altitude of 14000 ft, Bhrigu Lake is a mystical place in a remote land. Mostly mountain lakes are situated on river beds or glacier beds, but for admiring this beauty, you have to pass through Rohtang pass and river Beas then trek upwards. This trek makes you witness a panoramic view of Manali Valley and famous peaks of Kullu Valley. This is an excellent trek for showing your photography skills.
Trek 2N/3D (everyday departure from 20th Sept to end of October)
Day 01: Manali to Mori Dugh Camp
Our staff will pick you from the hotel/guest house/ or bus station from private jeep or car and takes you to the village Kulung, where the trek starts. It will take 4 hours to reach Mori Dugh. You’ll be welcomed with a hot lunch. In the evening, you may explore the surroundings.
Day 02: Mori Dugh camp to Bhrigu Lake
After having a delicious breakfast, you’ll leave for Bhrigu Lake with packed lunch. You’ll cross through the silver oak forest. Enjoy panoramic views of the Manali Valley. After reaching Bhrigu Lake, you’ll get time to admire its beauty. You will come back to Mori Dugh camp to stay overnight in the camp.
Day 03: Mori Dugh to Vashisht
It’s a downhill trek that starts from the campsite to take you to Vashisht village. This place is famous for its hot water sulphur springs. You can take a bath in the public ponds here. You’ll drop to the hotel after spending some time in Vashisht village.
Trek 3N/4D (fixed departure – every Monday and Thursday from 20th Sept to end of October)

Day 02: Mori Dugh to Pandu Ropa Camp
After having a delicious breakfast, you’ll leave for High Altitude Meadows Camp. Cover the distance uphill to reach High Altitude Meadows Camp. You’ll be welcomed with hot lunch. In the evening, you may explore the places in and around the camp. Stay overnight in a tent.
Day 03: Pandu Ropa Camp to Bhrigu Lake and back to Mori Dugh
After having a delicious breakfast, you’ll leave for Bhrigu Lake with pack lunch. You’ll cross through the silver oak forest. You will also see Bhrigu peak and enjoy a panoramic view of the Manali Valley. After reaching Bhrigu Lake, you’ll get time to admire its beauty and come back to Mori Dugh camp to stay overnight.
Day 04: from Mori Dugh Camp to Vashishath
It’s a downhill trek that starts from the campsite to take you to Vashisht village. This place is famous for its hot water sulphur springs. You can take a bath in the public ponds here. You’ll be dropped to the hotel after spending some time in the Vashisht village.
All the meals are completely vegetarian and freshly cooked. You’ll get all the meals during the trek except breakfast on the day of arrival and dinner on the day of departure. You may enjoy the authentic taste of Himalayan cuisine during this trek.
Accommodation
You’ll get accommodation in the alpine tents and base camp. Accommodation is completely spacious, comfortable, and available on twin/triple sharing basis with sleeping bags/foam trekking mattresses and toilet tents.
