Trip Overview

Witness the truest and most breathtaking faces of nature while trekking through an amazing and mesmeric track that leads to the epitome of exhilaration with Annapurna Base Camp Trek. Nepal ABC Trek welcomes you to fall in love with the snow-laden peaks of Annapurna I (8091m), Dhaulagiri (8167m), Machhapuchhre (6993m), Annapurna II (7937), Annapurna III (7555m), Annapurna IV (7552m) and Hiunchuli (6441m) which are the key attractions of this trek. The journey commences from Nayapul which can be reached in about 2 hours from Pokhara. From Nayapul reach Tikhedhunga and travel to Ghorepani the next day. Reach Tadapani the following day after a quick trip to Poon Hill to enjoy the dazzling vistas of the Himalayan peaks at sunrise. Travel to Chhomrung to Dovan to Deurali and advance to the Machhapuchhre Base Camp. The massive Himalayan peaks on all sides will definitely be a sight to behold. Trek to Annapurna Base Camp the day after and travel back to Chhomrung via Dovan. From Chhomrung trek to Ghandruk and then finally, back to Pokhara which will mark the end of a fascinating journey in the ever so alluring, Himalayas.

Itinerary

The 12-day fascinating journey begins at Nayapul, which is approximately 55 km from Pokhara and takes nearly 2 hours by car or van.

  • Day 1: Drive from Pokhara to Nayapul and Trek to Tikhedhunga
  • Day 2: Tikhedhunga to Ghorepani
  • Day 3: Ghorepani to Tadapani  via Poon Hill
  • Day 4: Tadapani to Chhomrung
  • Day 5: Chhomrung to Dovan
  • Day 6: Dovan to Deurali
  • Day 7: Deurali to Machhapuchhre Base Camp (MBC)
  • Day 8: Machhapuchhre Base Camp (MBC) to Annapurna Base Camp (ABC)
  • Day 9:  Annapurna Base Camp (ABC) to Dovan
  • Day 10: Dovan to Chhomrung
  • Day 11: Chhomrung to Ghandruk
  • Day 12: Ghandruk to Pokhara

Included

  • Pick-up and drop-off facilities from Kathmandu Airport on prior notice via private vehicle.
  • Transportation to Nayapul from Pokhara and other on-site transportation.
  • Accommodation in hotels and teahouses during the trekking journey.
  • Three meals based on the full-board system during the course of round Annapurna trekking.
  • Seasonal fresh fruits in addition to the meals.
  • Required taxes and trekking permits such as TIMS Card (Trekkers Information Management System), National Parks Entrance fees, etc.

  • International flying fares to Nepal or from the country as well as Nepal visa fees.
  • Travel insurance in case of emergency evacuation through helicopter.
  • All personal expenses such as telephone bills, laundry, internet cost, bar bills, etc.
  • Food and accommodation charges in Kathmandu if you plan an early/late return/departure.
  • Leaving the Annapurna Round Trek voluntarily means no refund of the fees.
  • Tips as a token of appreciation
  • In case of natural calamities or situations that are beyond our control, the costs incurred are charged by the aspirants.
