The trail goes through promising natural landscapes of alpine and rhododendron forests, pristine lakes, high ridges, ancient dzongs, magnificent temples, and local villages. The trek is non-strenuous and with scenic views at every turn. Witness great views of the Mt. Gangkar Puensum and mesmerizing lakes en-route. Visit the famous Tsheluna Nye, a sacred place for Buddhists and purify your sins in the water of streams near the cliff. Hike to the mind-blowing Taktsang Monastery that clings to the edge of a rock cliff. Itinerary

  • Day 1: Arrive at Paro Airport
    Reach Airport and our representative will meet you there and transfer you to the Guest house. The tour manager will meet you at the Guest house and brief all the participants about the trip, followed by a welcome dinner.
  • Day 2: Trek to Jele Dzong
    Start Trek from the watch tower and follow the upward trail towards the forest. Cross a ridge line and experience gorgeous views of the Parvati valley, UgyenPelri Palace and the Paro Dzong. Trek further more to reach the campsite at Jeli Dzong. Enjoy dramatic views of the valley and Mt. Jhomolhari. Spend night at the campsite.
  • Day 3: Trek to Jangchulakha
    Cross a ridge and descend into a forest, followed by a snake-like route. Trek along the mountainsides, and through alpine and rhododendron trees. Finally hike through an area of Yak herders before you reach the campsite. Overnight stay at the campsite in Jangchulakha.
  • Day 4 : Trek to Tsheluna and drive to Thimpu
    Hike down a hill, covered with gorgeous forest and reach Tsheluna Nye. This is the sacred place where second Buddha Guru Rinpoche visited. View Lam Drukpa Kinley in the cave and several other treasured imprints. Drive back to Thimpu later in the evening and explore the town. Stay the night in a 3-star hotel at Thimpu.
  • Day 5: Trek to Tiger’s Nest Monastery. Sightseeing and drive to Paro
    Drive till the hike point of Taktsang Monastery. Follow the beautiful trail through pine forests, Spanish moss, and groves of prayer flags. Stop at a small cafeteria for refreshments and continue trek across a deep chasm. Reach the Tiger’s Nest Monastery and admire the history linked to this place. Trek back to the hike point, where you will board a taxi for sightseeing in Bhutan. Visit Kyichu Monastery, Takin Preserve, Bhutan Post, National Library, and a Memorial Chhorten. Drive back to Paro and spend the night in hotel.
  • Day 6: Departure
    Enjoy early breakfast and leave for Paro airport to board departure flight.
