You will witness the world’s largest statue of Buddha, Buddha Dordenma statue along with the King’s Memorial Chorten. This country will make you smile at every turn with fluttering prayer flags, friendly people, delectable cuisine, and the breathtaking views of the mountain. Explore the beautiful Bumthang valley and visit the traditional farmhouses in Punakha. This trek also gives you a chance to explore the most popular Taktsang monastery or the Tiger’s nest. Itinerary

  • Day 1: Arrive Paro and Check-in at hotel
    Enjoy a spectacular flight over the Himalayas and reach Airport. Our representative will receive all the guests and begin the 2-hour drive to Thimpu. We will visit Tamoche Lhakhang on the way and check into the hotel at Thimphu.
     
  • Day 2: Thimphu Sightseeing
    The guests will be served early breakfast as we have numerous places to visit on the sightseeing tour. First, we will visit the National Library, followed by The Traditional Medicine Institute and the Painting School. After this, we will visit a Mask maker workshop and a Textile & Folk Heritage Museum. The guests will now be served with lunch, and after that, we will head towards Kuensel Podrang to see the world’s largest Buddha statue, Buddha Dordenma Statue. Witness the Kings Memorial Chorten and prayer wheels on way back. Upon reaching Thimphu, we will visit the Handicrafts Emporium and explore local markets of fine traditional arts.
     
  • Day 3: Thimphu to Punakha to Trongsa
    After an early breakfast, we will drive to Dochula pass where you can witness the snow-clad Masagang, Tsendagang, Terigang, Kangphugang, and many more. We will continue the drive to Wangduephodrang valley and stop there for lunch. We will now proceed to Pelela pass and witness the area covered by prayer flags and dwarf bamboo. Arrive Trongsa, and spend the night in a lodge.
     
  • Day 4 : Trongsa to Bumthang
    Today we will trek to the Trongsa Dzong and visit Ta Dzong (watchtower). After this, we will drive to Bumthang and check into a lodge. We will have lunch and visit Kurje Lhakhang, Jambey Lhakhang, Tamshing Monastery and Swiss farmhouse.
     
  • Day 5: Bumthang to Trongsa to Punakha
    After enjoying breakfast we will explore the beautiful valley of Bumthang and proceed towards Trongsa for traditional lunch. Visit Wangduephodrang Dzong on the way and spend the night at a hotel in Punakha.
     
  • Day 6: Punakha to Paro
    Visit Punakha Dzong in the morning after breakfast and proceed to Paro. We will visit a traditional Bhutanese farmhouse and get an insight into the ethos of local people. Stay the night in a hotel in Paro.
     
  • Day 7: Paro to Paro Taktsang
    Today we will drive north of Paro Valley after breakfast, and explore the ruins of Drukgyel Dzong and the fortress. Excursion to the Taktsang Monastery will take approximately 5 hours and we will leave for Paro by evening. We will visit Kichu Lhakhang on the way, followed by an overnight stay in a hotel.
     
  • Day 8: Departure
    The guest can enjoy their breakfast and our representative will drop everyone to the airport for departures.
