Itinerary

  • Day 01: Arrive at Tribhuban International Airport Kathmandu, Transfer to Hotel
    A representative will pick you from the airport and drive you to the hotel. Meet the executive to discuss the trip and meet the guide and porter. Take rest and prepare for your trekking trip.
     
  • Day 02: Drive to Dhap Bazaar
    Wake up early, and after your breakfast at the hotel, you drive through Okhaldhunga to reach Dhap Bazaar. The driving route passes through Sun Koshi, Tama Koshi, till the point it becomes Koshi River. You also cross several small villages with sub-tropical forests of pine and rhododendron. On your way, enjoy delectable local Nepalese meal and a beautiful view of landscape and valley. Upon reaching, settle at a local tea house for an overnight stay.
     
  • Day 03: Trekking to Jhapre
    The day starts early after your breakfast, start your trekking trip to Jhapre. This newly open trek trail starts from a dusty road, and after walking for a while, the route opens to a mesmerizing view of valley and mountain. As you reach the village of Jhapre, visit the monasteries and stupas, and explore nearby areas amidst the breathtaking surroundings of Mount Everest and Numbur Himal. You’ll stay overnight at a local tea house.
     
  • Day 04: Trek to Pikey Peak Base Camp
    Today the trek begins with a gentle ascending passing through Pine and Rhododendron forest. The route is dotted with beautiful mountain sceneries of the eastern Himalayas, Mount Everest, Numbur Himal, and more. Take a break at a small tea house for lunch. Continue your walk passing through several villages, wide grazing field of ship and yak, and long mani walls. As you reach Pikey Peak Base camp, settle at the local tea house to take rest.
     
  • Day 05: Trek to Pikey Peak and Further to Junbesi
    Wake up early in the morning to hike to Pikey Peak, which is going to be a steep walking. The route offers a magnificent view of sunrise from the dramatic mountains of Kanchenjunga, Everest, Manaslu, Langtang, Annapurna, and Dhaulagiri. Now you walk down via stone trail crossing the Pine and Rhododendron forests and reach Junbesi. Here you visit the oldest monasteries, explore villages, and then stay at a local tea house for the night.
     
  • Day 06: Exploration Thupten Chholing Gompa and Back to Junbesi
    This is going to be an easy hike to Thupten Chholing Gompa. After your breakfast, start your trip with a gentle climb uphill and upon reaching, visit Gompa and explore the village and other places around. You can also participate in a meditation session with nuns and monks in the monastery. Take the same way to return, and stay at a local tea house for an overnight stay.
     
  • Day 07: Trek to Phaplu, Overnight at Local Tea House
    Start walking along the Junbesi Khola on the dirt road up till Benighat, and then take a short uphill walk to reach Phaplu. Spend a night here at a local tea house.
     
  • Day 08: Morning Fly Back to Kathmandu
    Board flight back to Kathmandu or drive back. Once you reach, check-in to a hotel, take rest, and then in the evening, join the group for farewell dinner at a typical Nepali restaurant enjoying the cultural show.
     
  • Day 09: Reserve Day in Kathmandu
    It is going to be a reserve day in Kathmandu, in case your flight got delayed or canceled. Today you can go for sightseeing and visit major monuments in the city like Durbar Square, Pashupatinath Temple, Bauddhanath Stupa, etc.
     
  • Day 10: Departure
    A representative will drop you to the airport for your flight back home.
