Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu Nepal- Transfer to Nagarkot

Arrive at Kathmandu International Airport, and our representative will transfer you to Nagarkot. Upon reaching, we will check-in to the hotel, followed by an initial briefing of the trip. Explore this green valley dotted with magnificent mountain views and spend the night here.

Day 2: Explore and Sightseeing in Nepal

Wake up early to witness the sunrise behind the mountains in Nagarkot and have breakfast. Begin your tour by visiting the first destination- Changunaryana Temple, which is known for its beautiful history and spectacular work of art. After this, you’ll be visiting Bhaktapur Durbar Square- oldest king palace, Bouddhanatah Stupa- largest stupa in Nepal, and Pashupatinath Temple- most sacred Hindu Temple in Nepal known for its art and architecture. Drive to Thamel for an overnight stay.

Day 3: Drive to Pokhara

Get up early for breakfast and begin your drive to Pokhara alongside the Trisuli River bank- known for its White Water River Rafting. The route is scenic, comprising of the magnificent landscape and mountain views. Check-in to the hotel and relax in your rooms offering breathtaking view of Mountain Dhaulagiri, Machhapuchhre, and Annapurna Ranges.  You can visit the Phewa Lake, Tal Barahi Temple, and explore the nearby areas.

Day 4: Sightseeing in Pokhara and Hike

Leave hotel after breakfast and visit David Fall, Gupteswor Mahadev Cave, and International Mountain Museum. After this, we will drive to Kande for an amazing hiking experience at an Australian Camp. Instead of hiking, you can also drive to Dhampus for a relaxing day and explore a beautiful Himalayan village to relish the serene view of greener hills and mesmerizing lake.

Day 5: Hike back to Kande and Drive to Lumbini

Wake-up early and witness the best sunrise view from the camp. Spend the rest of the morning exploring the area. After a while, start your hike back from the camp or drive back from Dhampus to Kande. We will drive to Lumbini, the birthplace of Buddha via Palpa Tansen. During the drive, you will cross through beautiful villages, monuments, and other scenic places. Reach Lumbini and check-in to your hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 6: Visit Lumbini and Drive to Chitwan National Park

In Lumbini, visit Maya Devi Temple- Buddha’s Mother, Ashoka Pillar, holy pond, and ancient monasteries. After the sightseeing tour in Lumbini, we will drive to Chitwan National Park. Check-in to the hotel and enjoy a tour in Tharu Village. Visit the National Park center to know more about the Park’s history and wildlife. Sum-up the day with a gorgeous sunset view from the bank of Rapti River and spend the night here.

Day 7: Chitwan Jungle Safari

Today you’ll go for a Canoe ride along the Rapti River and enjoy laid back moments, watching birds and crocodiles. After the ride, we will enjoy a jungle walk and stop for lunch. Witness the Elephant Safari and enjoy Tharu cultural dance and slide show presentation in the evening.

Day 8: Jungle Activities and Drive back to Kathmandu

Visit the Government Elephant Breeding Center and then drive back to Kathmandu. Check-in to the hotel and meet the representative to discuss your trip to Tibet.

Day 9: Fly to Lhasa

After breakfast, we will leave for Kathmandu airport and board the flight to Lhasa. Arrive in Lhasa and our representatives will transfer you to the hotel, where you can relax for the day.

Day 10: Sightseeing in Lhasa

Enjoy a sightseeing tour in Lhasa, and visit major places in the city including the Patola Palace, Drepung Monastery, Barkhor Bazaar, and the narrow lanes of old Lhasa streets.

Day 11: Another Day in Lhasa

Today we will visit Sera Monastery, Jokhang Temple, Norbulingka Palace, and other touristy places. These sites are the gateway to know more about Tibet’s history and culture.

Day 12: Drive to Shigatse from Lhasa via Gyantse

After your breakfast, drive through the golden fields alongside the Lhasa River towards Shigatse. During the ride, you will witness beautiful views of Tibetan Himalayas and the giant glacier of Khorala.

Day 13: Drive from Shigatse to Rongbuk Monastery

Today we will drive to Lhatse after your breakfast and stopover in this town for lunch. Drive further towards Shegar and capture the magnificent view of Mount Everest from a distance. Visit the Rongbuk Monastery and cross Pang la Pass to explore great views of the world’s five highest peaks.

Day 14: Explore Everest Base Camp and Drive back to Shigatse

Your day starts early before dawn with a drive from Rongbuk Monastery to Everest Base Camp, where you can relish the stunning view of sunrise. After breakfast, visit the base camp and then drive back to Shigatse.

Day 15: Drive back to Lhasa

Follow the same route to drive back to Lhasa, or via Yamdrok Lake to capture its beauty. Once you reach Lhasa, check into the hotel for rest, and prepare for the flight to Nepal.

Day 16: Fly back to Kathmandu

Drive to Gonggar airport in the morning and board the flight to Kathmandu. Our representative will pick you from the airport and transfer to the hotel. It is a rest day in Kathmandu; you can also stroll around the city, explore places, engage in some adventure activity, or shop for family and friends.

Day 17: Arriva at Paro and Drive to Thimpu

Today we’ll be flying to Paro and reach the destination by afternoon. Have lunch and enjoy a sightseeing tour in Paro. We will visit Ta Dzong Museum and Rimpong Dzong, followed by a drive to Thimphu alongside the Pachu River. 

Day 18: Explore Thimpu

After breakfast, explore this beautiful place and begin with the sightseeing tour. Visit the National Memorial Chorten, Changangkha Temple, Drubthob Monastery, and the School for Arts and Crafts, the National Library, traditional paper factory, Folk Heritage Museum, and Thimpu Market.

Day 19: Thimpu to Punakha and Explore Punakha

Start early with a drive over the Dochu La Pass, and then descent towards Punakha Valley. The drive crosses the countryside area that offers a glimpse of Himalayan beauty and the Rhododendron forests. Upon arrival, we’ll be visiting Punakha Dzong and stop at a restaurant for lunch. Walk to Chimi Lhakhang - a temple, also known as Divine Madam.

Day 20: Punakha to Paro

Today we will drive to Paro and visit Yabesa Village, followed by a hike through rice fields to reach Khamsum Yueley Namgyal Chorten. Take a break for picnic lunch on a riverside, and then move towards the Wangduephodrang Dzong. Drive back to Thimpu and visit the handicraft store on the way. Continue drive to Paro and visit Semtokha Dzong en route.

Day 21: Explore Paro

Start your day with early breakfast and hike to the Taktsang Monastery. Walk above the Paro Valley and witness a beautiful 2 hour hike. Stop for lunch and drive to the Drukgyel Dzong. Drive back to Paro, and on your way, visit Kyichu Lhakhang.

Day 22: Departure from Paro and Arrive at Kathmandu

Today we will fly back to Kathmandu and check into the hotel, upon arrival. The guests can either relax or goshopping in the markets. In the evening, we will head for dinner with the group and enjoy authentic Nepalese food.

Day 23: Final Departure to home

This is the final day of this trip and representatives will drop you at the airport for departure.

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu Nepal- Transfer to Nagarkot

Arrive at Kathmandu International Airport, and our representative will transfer you to Nagarkot. Upon reaching, we will check-in to the hotel, followed by an initial briefing of the trip. Explore this green valley dotted with magnificent mountain views and spend the night here.
