Itinerary

Day 1: Hanoi – Sapa – Y Linh Ho – Lao Chai – Ta Van (B/L/D)

6:30- 7:00 – Pick-up facility from your hotel in Hanoi, then begin your journey for Sapa via new-highway with a short break for relaxation.

13:00 – As soon as you arrive at Sapa Town, you would be captivated by the alluring traditional custom of colorful beautiful costumes of Tay Ethnic, H’mong and Dzao. Then, briefing of the itinerary and enjoy the delicious welcome drink. Before, check-in the hotel, amaze yourself with the mouth-watering, Vietnamese lunch.

14:15- A short but beautiful ride to the ethnic village –Y Linh Ho. Then, begin your hiking traversing through the rice fields, Muong Hoa Stream to Lao Chai, the village of Black H’ mong minority. Now, relax and witness the outstanding and spectacular panoramic views of Hoang Lien Son mountain ranges. Late afternoon, your trekking trail takes you to the traditional village – Ta Van Village which is the home of the Tay minority. The distance is approximately, 9km which is around 3 hours. 

17: 45 – Now, check in to the homestay, check out the unsophisticated but traditional lifestyle of the locals. Have a look at the enchanting sunset views amidst the snow-carpeted mountain ranges. In the evening, check out the local bar that is nearby and then do not forget to socialize with the localities to make cherishing memories. It includes serving meals thrice a day that is breakfast, lunch, and dinner and then overnight at homestay. 

Day 2: Ta Van- Giang Ta Chai- Sapa (B/L/D)

8:00: - Taste the local delicacies in breakfast prepared by the local family and the begin your hiking

8:45- Then, walk through the rice paddies, and then you can stop for a while to click beautiful Instagramable pictures amidst the astonishing landscapes. After crossing the enhancing bamboo forest, you will reach the autochthonous village – Giang Ta Chai Village which is the home of the Red Dzao minority. The total distance is approximately 4km and the duration is around 2 hours.

11:00- Now, exit the village via Giang Ta Chai Bridge to reach the main road. There, the driver would be waiting for you. Drive to the magnificent town of Sapa. 

12:00 – 14:00 – Taste the mouth-watering welcome drink and then briefing of the itinerary list

Enjoy the sumptuous and delicious Vietnamese in lunch and the check-in the hotel. 

Day 3 – Sapa- Cat Cat – Hanoi (B/L)

The day 3 begins with the trekking downhill, towards the Cat-Cat village which is situated at the bottom of the astounding – Muong Hoa Valley. Enjoy the mesmerizing scenarios of the alluring valleys towards the highest peak of Vietnam – Fansipian and Indochina. The village represents the picturesque beauty of the traditions of the place as you would get to explore the traditional Black H’mong’s stilt houses. You would also witness people who are pro at weaving and embroidering. After your lunch, transfer arrangements to get back to Hanoi.

Good to Know

  • It is better that old people  and kids do not attend this 9km long trek
  • The itineraries of Day 1 and Day 3 are dependent on the conditions of the weather
  • Overnight homestay at 1st night or 2nd night, you would be informed about this by our tour guide on bus to Sapa
  • Normally it cold, so it is better to carry extra woolen clothes – scarf, hat or shawl
  • As Sapa is situated at an higher altitude, the weather is foggy from December to March
  • Do not forget to pack extra water resistant trekking shoes, sunglasses, sunscreen
  • Make sure you do carry cash in Vietnam Dong as many times the banking system in Sapa does not function
  • US, Dollar, Euro and Australia Dollar are accepted
  • There are medicine shops in Sapa yet you must carry medicines with you
  • The Homestay facilities are different than that of a hotel in Sapa
