This hidden trekking trail in Nepal is blessed with a variety of cultural, geographical, and biodiversity. Ruby Valley Trekking route has remained unknown to most of the trekkers coming to Nepal. Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival at Kathmandu

Once you arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport, you’ll be welcomed by our representative. You’ll be transferred to the hotel where you get a briefing about the trek. Further, in the evening, enjoy a group welcome dinner.

Day 2: Drive from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi

Wake up early in the morning and drive to Syabrubesi, which takes around 8-9 hours to complete. The trek is accompanied by mesmerizing views of landscapes, mountains, and Langtang and Trishuli River.

Day 3: Trek from Syabrubesi to Gatlang

Start your trek expedition from Syabrubesi towards Gatlang that takes around 5-6 hours to reach. During the trek, you experience the amazing nature trails and typical Tamang culture hospitality. Gatlang is an area located high on a hillside among the terrace fields.

Day 4: Trek from Gatlang to Somdang

Begin your trek day after breakfast towards Somdang, which takes 5 hours to reach the destination. The trek trail takes you amidst the stunning mountain views of Langtang Himal Ranges, Palmore Peak, Ganesh Himal, and other unnamed peaks.

Day 5: Acclimatization Day

The day is meant to take rest and acclimatize in Somdang where you can relax and enjoy a great view of the Paldor peak and other mountains. Explore the nearby areas and stay overnight while enjoying camping with your group.

Day 6: Trek from Somdang to Pansang Bhanjyang to Tipling

Leave early for your trek in the morning, walking towards Pansang Bhanjyang that offers a viewpoint southwest of Somdang village with a great view of nature. To the north lie the soaring peaks of Manaslu and Ganesh Himal Ranges. Walk further towards Tipling, entering into a large meadow graced with a breathtaking location for camping.

Day 7: Tipling to Shertung

Today you trek to Shertung that starts with descending to cross the Adha Khola on a box bridge. Then ascend to the sister village of Shertung and Chalish, overlooking the river valley and fertile fields. The area is inhabited mainly by the Tamangs, and you can hear amazing stories about the region from the locals. 

Day 8: Trek to Chalish Gaon

After your breakfast, trek down to Chalish Village that is about 30 minutes walk, and then trek to Tatopani. Here you can enjoy Hot Spring bath with grandeur view of the mountains and then have lunch. Return to Chalish Gaon for an overnight village.

Day 9: Trek Chalish to Jharlang

After breakfast, start your trek to Mani Danda, 30 minutes walk from Chalish to relish the view of breathtaking Ganesh Himal ranges and the entire village of Chalish. Now continue trek to Jharlang passing Deul Danda, Gobre Village, Chhap Danda, and Bandari Bhir.

Day 10: Trek to Darkha Gaon from Jharlang Gaon

Start the day’s trek after breakfast to Jharlang Gaon walking for 2-3 hours and passing paddy terraces. Now start trekking towards Darkha Gaon passing through suspension bridges, breathtaking views of Ankhu Khola, Chyamchyat, and Ri Village on the other side of the river. Finally, you reach Darkha Gaon and stay there overnight.

Day 11: Dharka Gaon to Dhading Besi and drive back to Kathmandu

Start trekking to Darkha Phedi after breakfast. The trek takes 45 minutes downhill and then you take a local sharing jeep ride to reach Dhading Besi in 3-4 hours. You pass through Ankhu Khola, Kimdang Pedi Village, Katunje Village, and Jyamrung Village, which makes your drive scenic. From Dhading change bus and drive back to Kathmandu. Reach Kathmandu, take rest and enjoy farewell dinner with the group.

Day 12: Departure Day

Last day in Nepal, and with all great memories and experiences leave for the airport. Our representative will drop you to the airport for final departure to back home or your next destination.
