14 Days Everest Base Camp Luxury Trek Tour Nepal
Trip Overview
Everest Base Camp Luxury Trek is considered an easy trek as compared to the others which will take you high along the trails to Tengboche Monastery. This trek is short but offers you beautiful views of the world’s highest mountains which include Mt. Everest, Lhotse, Thamserku, Ama Dablam and many other snow capped peaks.
You will fly from Kathmandu to Lukla in the Khumbu region and trek to Namche Bazar, Thyangboche and in the Khumjung village which is a settlement of the Sherpa people. This trek gives you an introduction to the country of Sherpa and its culture with great views of the mountains and is also a popular destination among the first time trekkers in Nepal. This trek suits trekkers who do not have much time for long treks.
Itinerary
Day 1: Touchdown in Kathmandu
You will be welcomed by the Sherpa Expedition and Trekking representative at the Airport and will be taken to the hotel. You will be briefed about travel itinerary at the hotel followed by your overnight stay there.
Day 2: Fly to Lukla and start trekking to Phakding
You will board a flight to Lukla Airport in the morning and will reach Lukla in less than 30 minutes. You will have breakfast after landing in Lukla and start your trekking journey. It will take you to reach Phakding village in around 3 hours where you will stay overnight at a Yeti Home. Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be included.
Day 3: Trek to Namche Bazaar
You will continue your trek along the Dudh Kosi River and ascend through Himalayan Pine and Deodar Cedar forests and reach your destination which is Namche Bazaar. Your overnight stay will be at a Yeti Home in Namche Bazaar. Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be included.
Day 4: Trek to Everest View Resort
This day will be utilized for acclimatization as it is very important due to get adapted to high altitude trekking. You can side trek the twin villages of Khumjung and Khude where you will have your lunch. After having lunch, you will trek till the Everest View Hotel where you can soak in the beauty of the mountains including the majestic Mount Everest. After five hours you will return to Namche. Your overnight stay will be at a Yeti Hotel.
Day 5: Trek to Tengboche
Your trek will continue along the glacial waters of the Dudh Kosi with beautiful view of the mountains. You will be trekking to a height of 3,860m by reaching Tengboche. Your group will be taken to observe a prayer ceremony inside the monastery either in the evening or in the morning. Your overnight stay will be at a Himalayan Culture Home.
Day 6: Trek to Dingboche
You will head to the village of Somare followed by Orsho where you will find lodges. You will trek to the village of Dingboche which has good lodges.
Day 7: Acclimatization at Dingboche
It will be good to acclimatize for another day before going higher. You will hike up Chukkung and onwards Island Peak. The trail in Chhukung leaves Dingboche for Bibr which is surrounded by many peaks. Chhukung has many lodges and is a popular spot to climb Island Peak.
Day 8: Trek to Lobuche
You will start with an easy walk towards Dugla after having breakfast. Then you will trek up the moraine of the Khumbu Glacier and ascend Chupki Lhara. It will continue to the Khumbu Glacier moraine where we will be facing many peaks. Your overnight stay will be in Lobuche.
Day 9: Trek to Gorak Shep and EBC
You will take the trail to Everest Base Camp through Gorak Shep Lake. You will pass through rocky dunes, moraine and streams before you reach the Everest Base Camp. Then you will get back to Gorak Shep where you will rest for the night.
Day 10: Hike to Kalapatthar and trek to Pangboche
You will depart early in the morning and reach Kala Patthar where you will have magnificent views of Mt. Everest and return to Lobuche. Your overnight stay will be in Pangboche.
Day 11: Trek back to Namche Bazaar
You will be following the same trail through which you came and descend from Tengboche to Namche Bazaar.
Day 12: Trek to Lukla
This will be your last day of trekking as you will return to Lukla from where the trek began. You can wander around in the afternoon.
Day 13: Fly back to Kathmandu from Lukla
You will catch an early flight to Kathmandu where you can explore other areas. You can buy souvenirs this day followed by a farewell dinner.
Day 14: Travel to Tribhuvan International Airport
Your journey in Nepal will come to an end this day. After breakfast, our representative will drop you to the airport around 3 hours before your scheduled flight.

- It is advised to delay your outing rather dropping it as delay charge of USD 150 will be deducted from your development store and remaining sum will be moved as your equalization sum which you can use for your next trip with us.
