The trekking expedition of Tamag Culture Heritage is a wonderful way to explore the Himalayas and to know about the culture of Tamang. The trek trail is a newly explored route that takes you close to nature and the Tamang culture near the border of Tibet passing through Langtang Valley.

Itinerary

  • Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu
    Once you arrive in the country of Mt. Everest, you’ll be welcomed by a representative of Sherpa at the Tribhuvan International Airport. Then he will transfer you to the hotel in Kathmandu. After check-in, take rest or explore the nearby area. In the evening, go for a welcome dinner hosted by the hotel.
  • Day 2: Kathmandu to Syabrubesi Drive
    The day starts with a drive in a jeep from Kathmandu to Sybrubesi accompanied by the road full of exciting scenes and view of snow-covered mountains, terraced fields, and green hills and a glimpse of Ganesh Himal.
  • Day 3: Syabrubesi to Gatlang Trek
    Start the day early in the morning after breakfast, as today you trek to Gatlang from Syabrubesi through Golang. The route offers a pleasant walk with picturesque views of the terraced fields and forests. You can see flowers and plants throughout the trail, and can also explore some Tamang settlements along the tail.
  • Day 4: Gatlang to Tatopani Trek
    On this day, you continue the trek following the trail to Tatopani and enjoying the view of Ganesh Himal and Langtang Himal ranges. The route takes you through some villages of Tamang where you can experience their culture and lifestyle. Once you reach Tatopani, a natural hot spring helps you to relax relieving all aches and pains of the trek.
  • Day 5: Tatopani to Thuman Trek
    Start the day with the trek from Tatopani to Thuman crossing through Nagthali and Bumthang. Nagathani is a popular meditation center for priests and monks, and provide impressive sight of Langtang Himal, Ganesh Himal, Kerung Himal, and other many peaks. Once you reach Thuman, you can explore the culturally rich place.
  • Day 6: Thuman to Briddim Trek
    The trek takes you to Briddim from Thuman enjoying a panoramic view of dense forests and mesmeric mountains. You pass through Timure - a traditional trade route with Tibet and then reach Briddim and explore the place. It is a beautiful unspoiled village where Tibetan culture is being practiced by Tibetan descendants.
  • Day 7: Briddim to Lama Hotel
    You trek to Lama Hotel walking a pleasant route of 7 hours. The route passes through bamboo and rhododendron forests, providing the experience of wilderness. There you can also experience the traditional culture while walking the trail of mountain settlements.
  • Day 8: Lama Hotel to Langtang Valley
    On the eighth day, you start a trek to Langtang Valley that has a pleasant and rewarding trail. It is the third popular most trekking region in the country and is dotted with a variety of flora and fauna. The wonderful view of snow-capped mountains and peak make the walk amazing.
  • Day 9: Langtang to Kanjin
    The trek voyage continues to Kyanjin Gompa, where you avail the opportunity to explore its spiritual insight and architectural loftiness. The panoramic view of gigantic mountains makes the Valley looks impressive and breathtaking.
  • Day 10: Acclimatization Day at Kyanjin Gompa
    The day is meant to take rest at Kyanjim Gompa and acclimatize. You can relax at the guest house or explore the area. The best way to utilize the day is by hiking to Langshis Kharka or Glacier Langtang-Lirung or Tserko Ri. The view of mountain peaks is unforgettable and makes the wandering trip around the region enticing.
  • Day 11: Kanjin Gompa to Lama Hotel
    After breakfast, you start the trek to Lama Hotel enjoying the beautiful scenery encircling the trail and make you feel close to nature.
  • Day 12: Lama Hotel to Syabru Bensi
    The trek expedition starts with the descent to Sybri from Lama Hotel, taking you through the trail filled with scenic views of landscapes, mountain ranges, and natural scenery.
  • Day 13: Drive from Syabru Bensi to Kathmandu
    On this day, you’ll be traveling to Kathmandu marking an end to this memorable adventurous journey. The route is dotted with bending roadway and view of green hills and gorges. Once you reach the hotel, have leisure time or explore Kathmandu or shop for gifts. In the evening, the hotel organizes farewell dinner and cultural programs.
  • Day 14: Departure Day
    After breakfast trek, you’ll be transferred to International Airport three hours before the scheduled flight back home. A representative will you drop you to the airport and you return back with cherished memories.
