Jagged Landscapes, splendid views of the dazzling Himalayan ranges such as Mt. Dhaulagiri, Mt. Kanchenjunga, Mt. Lhotse and Mt. Makalu. This short trek is full of adventure and excitement as throughout you would witness majestic and charismatic scenarios of woods, landscapes, valleys, and sky-touching mountains. The Pikey Peak Trek is one of the best hilltop destinations that could be covered in a shorter period. Located in the Ramechap district of Nepal, the trek begins and ends at Phaplu. The trail passes through some of the important destinations such as Kerung, Lamajura, Jhapre, Pikey Peak and Junbesi.

Itinerary

  • Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu and shifting to the hotel 
    As soon as you reach Tribhuvan International Airport, you would be provided proper transport facility to your hotels. After shifting, you would proceed for welcome dinner where you would also get a chance to witness the Nepali Dance which is a great way to do.
  •  Day 2: Drive from Kathmandu to Dhap
    The next day, after you are done with your breakfast, you can enjoy your long drive from Kathmandu to Dhap Bazaar. The driving route covers some of the important and beautiful destinations such as Sunkoshi River until Ghurmi. Also, you would get a chance to discover more about the Nepali Culture and their lifestyle as you would pass by the countryside, rivers, woods and main markets of Sherpa people. Overnight at the tea house under the sky full of stars. Dinner and Breakfast included. 
  • Day 3: Trek from Dhap to Jhapre 
    On your way to Jhapre, you would witness the vast flora and fauna of the region. Wild orchids, mysterious woods, stunning landscapes and startling valleys along the Solu Okhaldhunga border would make your trip interestingly amazing. The place is famous for Stupas and Buddhist Monasteries. Also, you would get a chance to watch different cultural performances. Overnight in the tea house. Lunch and dinner included. 
  • Day 4: Trek from Jhapre to Pikey Peak Base Camp
    This would take you to the highest point of the trek. This trekking destination is gaining incredible popularity as you would come across century’s aged and traditional monasteries, beautiful Mani stones and many Buddhist Stupas. The place is perfect to fulfill your historical treasure hunt. Also, you can try mountain bike race and marathon as these are the famous activities here. Overnight in the tent. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner included. 
  • Day 5: Hike to Peaky Peak and Trek to Junbensi 
    Walk down to witness the beautiful and picturesque landscapes. Here, you can taste the tasty and nutritious Yak Milk. Head towards Junbensi. On your way to Peaky Peak, you would get the chance to witness the beautiful sunrise view from the Himalayan ranges such as Kanchenjunga and Dhaulagiri. Trek downwards towards the Junbensi Valley. Overnight at the guesthouse. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner included. 
  • Day 6: Trek from Junbensi to Phaplu
    At Junbensi Village, you would also get the opportunity to visit, Thuptenchholing Monastery and discover about the Tibetan Medicinal Therapy. Trek to Phaplu is around 6 hours. Phaplu is popular for delicious local food, drinks, and presentation of the Sherpa Culture. Overnight stay at guesthouse will be arranged. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner included. 
  • Day 7: Drive from Phaplu to Kathmandu
    It’s a 6 to 7 hours drive to the hotel in Kathmandu. Overnight at the hotel. Breakfast included.
  • Day 8: Departure Day 
    You would be given a proper transport facility to the Airport, 3 hours before the scheduled flight.
