To dive into the historic trance of the country, visit the alluring and huge Pagoda Palace. Chak Pori hill presents an astonishing picturesque beauty of the majestic palace. Do not miss to visit the startling Drepung Monastery, Sera Monastery and Ganden Monastery. Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival at Lhasa Airport and then transfer to Lhasa (B.B)

After a warm welcome by the trek guide, our driver would accompany the seraphic city of Lhasa. You would come across the scenarios of the Brahmaputra which is popular as the Yarlung Tsangpo in Tibetan and historical giant stone-carved Buddha. You would stay in a hotel which includes a bed and breakfast facility. 

Day 2 and 3: Sightseeing the beautiful local sites in Lhasa(B.B)

On these two days, visit the amazingly popular local places such as – Jokhang Temple, Potala Palace, Barkhor Bazar and Drepung and Sera Monasteries.

Day 4: Full board Drive from Lhatse- Ganden Monastery 

The trek on day 4 begins around 9 Am, driving along the Lhasa River where you would get to witness enchanting ethnic Tibetan villages. On the side of Ganden Monastery, check out the beguiling views of the yaks and flocks. After visiting the monastery, go to the campsites and have lunch.

Day 5: Begin your full board trek from Ganden to Lheipu-Yamado (5-6 hours)

After breakfast, start your trekking around 9 Am, just after breakfast. Then, the trail takes you to the wonderful Kyichu Valley to Lhasa. Then, after trekking for 2 hours, you would reach the alluringly beautiful Hepu village; there you must visit the ancient nunnery – Ani Pangong.

Day 6: Full-board Trek from Yamado to Tso Topchu Valley 

Start your trek at 8:30 and in 2 hours you would reach Yama Do ascending towards the Shug-La-Pass. The rugged trekking trail would gradually descend towards the beautiful valley. After crossing Tsotup Chu, you would glimpse of nomads herders with their yaks, sheep and goats.

Day 7: Full board trek from Tso Topchu to Herder’s camp

Begin your trek from Tsotup Chu Valley and move towards the large basin. The trekking trail to the Chitu-La-Pass is steep and rugged which might be time-taking. Trekking to the steep ascent will bring you close to the basin, with three small rivers. The trek to the valley floor is steep and unmarked and might take you to different campsites. 

Day 8: Herder’s camp to Yamalung – Samye Monastery (Full-board)

Begin your trek around 8:30 Am, and then the trail takes you to alpine and rhododendron forests, before reaching Gen Do, a place that depict the ruined stone structure. Traversing across the meadows, you would reach the first permanent village of Chantan after Hebu. A steep climb for 1 hour, from the valley, you would reach Yamalung Hermitage. Then at the Yamalung valley, you would meet the driver who would take you to Samye Monastery. 

Day 9: Drive from Samye Monastery to Tsetang (B.B)

After you are done with your breakfast, visit the Samye Monastery. Wake up early and then visit the monastery assembly, which is conducted at 7 AM. Then, drive along with Brahmaputra River, reach Tsetang. There, visit the beautiful Yumbu Lhakang and Traduk temple in Tsetang. 

Day 10: Drive from Tsetang – Yamdrok-Gyangtse-Shigatse (Hotel and B.B)

Start your early morning trek from Tsetang and then drive towards Gyantse traversing across 3 big mountains passes – Kampa La, Karo La, and Simila. Karola is the highest pass with its alluring glaciers, and check out the Yamdrok Lake from the top of the Kampala Pass. In between the Yamdrok Lake and Karola Pass, you would be served mouth-watering lunch. Then, visit stunning Palchoe Monastery and Kubum Pagoda Stupa. Then, continue your journey towards the Shigatse which is the biggest farming land in Tibet. 

Day 11: Drive from Shigatse to Rongbuk Monastery (guest house b.b)

Early morning, trek begins and then stops at Tashi Lhunpo Monastery. Then, drive to old Dingri passing through the Tsola and Gyatso La pass. From the foot of Gyatso La Pass, you would get a glimpse of Mount Everest. Now, drive through the Pangla Pass, from where you would come across stunning views of Mount Everest, Lhotse and Makalu ranges. 

Day 12: Explore the Everest Base Camp Trek and then transportation to Sakya Monastery

Check out the panoramic views and beautiful scenarios of Everest Base Camp. Then, you would get to witness the charming beauty of Padmasamvawa Caves. You would enough time to capture the enticing beauty of the highest peak of the world. In the afternoon, drive to the Sakya Monastery. 

Day 13: Drive from Sakya to Shigatse by van- Shigatse to Lhasa (train) (Hotel and BB)

To capture a glimpse of historical treasure, visit the Sakya Monastery and Buddhist Library. Then drive back to Shigatse and then to Lhasa. Witness the beautiful landscapes and villages in your train journey along the Brahmaputra River. Enjoy your lunch in a beautiful small-town – Nyenmo which is at the border of Shigatse and Lhasa. 

Day 14: Drive from Lhasa to Lhasa Gongkar Airport
