Trip Overview

The Annapurna Base Camp Trek is a popular expedition for the mountain lovers that will take you to the base camp of this mesmeric mountain range. Witness the beautiful Gurung culture of the Ghandruk village and trek through the exquisite Annapurna Sanctuary. This trek will also give you the chance to visit the natural hot water springs and ethnic villages. Capture splendid views of Annapurna South, Annapurna I, Hiunchuli, Annapurna I, and Machhapuchhare during this Himalayan expedition and create beautiful memories for a lifetime.

Itinerary

  • Day 1: Arrive Kathmandu and check-in at hotel
    Our representatives and drivers will receive all the guests at Tribhuvan International Airport Kathmandu and transfer everyone to the hotel. Meet with the team for initial briefing and explore the nearby area. Enjoy early supper in the evening, followed by a good night’s sleep.
     
  • Day 2: Flight to Pokhara and trek to Ghandruk
    Get up early for breakfast and board a flight to Pokhara. Witness a mesmeric flight over the snow-covered Himalayan peaks and meet with the porters and other staff members upon arrival. From here, we will drive to Nayapul and begin with an ascending trek towards Ghandruk. Trek past the settlements of Chimrong, Chane, and Syauli Bazaar to reach a suspension bridge over Khumnu Khola. Reach Ghandruk and capture stunning views of Annapurna South, Fishtail, and Hiunchuli peaks.
     
  • Day 3: Trek to Chhomrong
    Today, we will ascend for an hour till Ghandrukkot and descend vertically to Kimron Khola. After this, the trail till Chhomrong turns gradual with mesmeric mountain views. We will spend the night in this striking village at a guesthouse.
     
  • Day 4: Trek to Dovan
    Cross a bridge and ascend towards Sinuwa Danda. Trek further through a thick rhododendron forest and descend through vertical stone steps to enter a bamboo jungle. Arrive at Dovan and stay the night at a guesthouse.
     
  • Day 5: Trek to Deurali
    Today, we will trek on an ascending trail, alongside a river and enter a thick bamboo, oak, and rhododendron forest. Trek past the Himalaya Hotel and two small streams through wooden bridges. Witness beautiful wildlife on the way and reach Deurali for an overnight stay.
     
  • Day 6: Trek to Machhapuchhare Base Camp
    Climb moderately through a river above the mountain said and reach a mesmeric viewpoint with huge snow-covered peaks encircling the area. Capture stunning views of Annapurna South, Annapurna I, Hiunchuli, Annapurna I, and Machhapuchhare. Reach MBC and spend the night at a guesthouse.
     
  • Day 7: Trek to Annapurna Base Camp
    Today, we will proceed towards Annapurna Base Camp through the beautiful Annapurna Sanctuary. We will walk for only 2-3 hours today and enjoy pristine views of snowy giant peaks from the ABC.
     
  • Day 8: Trek to Bamboo
    Get up early and witness the stunning sunrise over the peaks of the Annapurna range. Begin descending from ABC via Deurali, Dovan, and we will finally reach Bamboo for an overnight stay. Walk down the valley and witness beautiful waterfalls, pouring down from a high altitude.
     
  • Day 9: Trek to New Bridge
    Follow a steeply ascending trail Kuldi Ghar and then follow the stone steps that will lead you to Lower Chhomrong. Follow the same stone steps to reach Upper Chhomrong and walk down to Jhinu Danda. Enjoy a bath in a natural hot water spring and stay the night at a guesthouse.
     
  • Day 10: Trek to Nayapul and drive to Kathmandu via Pokhara
    Today, we will trek towards the Nayapul through Kyumi Village, Syauli bazaar, and Birethanti. Walk for one more hour to reach Nayapul and drive to the picturesque valley of Pokhara. Drive further towards Kathmandu and enjoy a farewell dinner with the crew, followed by an overnight stay.
     
  • Day 11: Departure
    After breakfast, our drivers and representatives will drop all the guests to the Kathmandu International Airport for departures, marking the end of this wonderful trek.
