Trip Overview

Annapurna Circuit trek is the perfect expedition if you wish to fall in love with pristine nature, scenic views of the Himalayas, and the diverse culture of Nepal. This internationally admired trek route offers stunning views of the Annapurna peaks, Gangapurna Peaks, Tilicho, and many others, as you traverse along the Annapurna region and the mesmeric Kaligandaki and Marsyangdi River. This trek also offers side trips to monasteries, ethnic villages, and the famous Muktinath Temple to offer a better understanding of the regional culture.

Itinerary

  • Day 1: Arrive Kathmandu and check-in at hotel
    Our representatives and drivers will receive all the guests at Tribhuvan International Airport Kathmandu and transfer everyone to the hotel. Meet with the team for initial briefing and explore the nearby area. Enjoy early supper in the evening, followed by a good night’s sleep.
     
  • Day 2: Sightseeing in Kathmandu
    Today, we will enjoy a sightseeing tour in Kathmandu and visit the famous historical attractions including, Bhaktapur Durbar Square, Kathmandu Durbar Square, Patan Durbar Square, Boudhanath, Swayambhunath, and Pashupatinath Temple.
     
  • Day 3: Drive to Khudi
    Enjoy early breakfast and drive towards Khudi for 6-7 hours. We will drive along the Marsyangdi River valley and eventually turn towards Besisahar to reach the destination for an overnight stay.
     
  • Day 4: Trek to Bahudanda
    We will begin with today’s trekking by crossing a bridge over the Marsyangdi River and moving towards its east shore. Trek through the Bhulbhule village and Ngadi to reach the settlement of Bahudanda, where we will spend the night.
     
  • Day 5: Trek to Chyamje
    Trek downwards to the valley floor and cross the river to embark upon a beautiful trail made of rocks. Keep trekking further and cross Syange, Ghermu Phant, and Khani Gaun to reach the West shore of the river. Pass through Jagat village and enter the Manang District to reach the destination.
     
  • Day 6: Trek to Dharapani
    Witness the changing landscape, people, and architecture, as you move along your trail towards Dharapani. You will notice various houses made of rock, less of tropical trees, and more of Tibetan people on today’s trail. Cross the Marsyangdi River after Karte settlement and reach Dharapani for an overnight stay.
     
  • Day 7: Trek to Chame
    Ascend on the river valley through Gurung village, Thonje, and Bagarchhap to reach the left shore of the river. Pass through small settlements with mesmeric views of Manaslu and reach Chame for an overnight stay.
     
  • Day 8: Trek to Pisang
    We will follow the previous route till Chame and cross lush forests of juniper and pine to reach Bhratang village. Enjoy splendid views of Annapurna II and stay the night at Pisang.
     
  • Day 9: Trek to Manang
    Continue trek towards the Manang valley and capture stunning views of Gangapurna peaks, Tilicho Annapurna peaks, Chulu East, and Pisang peak. Trek further to Humde and follow a quaint trail through Braga village to reach Manang.
     
  • Day 10: Acclimatization at Manang
    This day is reserved for acclimatization at Manang and we will enjoy short hiking trips to Chonkor Viewpoint and a monastery. Witness the beautiful flat-roofed houses in villages surrounded by exceptional scenery of Annapurna peaks, Chulu peaks, and Gangapurna.
     
  • Day 11: Trek to Yak Kharka
    Today we will trek towards Yak Kharka through a relaxing trail filled with juniper bushes. Enjoy views of Annapurna peaks, Tilicho peak, and Gangapurna during the journey and reach Yak Kharka for an overnight stay.
     
  • Day 12: Trek to Thorong Phedi/High Camp
    Begin trekking from Yak Kharka and reach Ledar after an hour. From here, we will descend and cross a river via bridge to reach a beautiful restaurant for lunch. Follow a narrow and uneven path to reach Thorong Phedi.
     
  • Day 13: Trek to Muktinath via Thorong La Pass
    This is the most challenging day of this trip, and we will begin with the trek early in the morning. We will trek upwards for 3-4 hours to reach the Thorong La pass, where we will witness the mesmeric sunrise. Descend towards Mustang and then the Kaligandaki valley to reach Muktinath after 7-8 hours of walk.
     
  • Day 14: Trek to JomsomVisit the Muktinath Temple and descend to the Kaligandaki River valley for 2 hours. We will reach Jomsom, which is the main headquarters of the Mustang region, and spend the night here.
     
  • Day 15: Fly/Drive to Pokhara
    Depending upon the weather conditions, we will either fly or drive to Pokhara.
     
  • Day 16: Explore Pokhara
    Today, we will explore the beautiful valley of Pokhara, and visit Patale Chango, World Peace Stupa, and enjoy boating at the Phewa Lake.
     
  • Day 17: Drive to Kathmandu
    Drive along the striking countryside for 7 hours and reach Kathmandu for an overnight stay.
     
  • Day 18: Leisure Day in Kathmandu
    The guests can enjoy a rest day at the hotel or explore the wonderful city as per their preference.
     
  • Day 19: Departure
    After breakfast, our drivers and representatives will drop all the guests to the Kathmandu International Airport for departures, marking the end of this wonderful trek.
