Trip Overview

The enthralling destination of Himachal Pradesh or the "Land of the Gods" call only those who are both wild and pure at heart. Itinerary

  • Day 1 - Manali/Naggar to Nawan Tapru (Drive: 24kms Walk: 6kms)
    The trek begins from Naggar, about 21 km away from Manali. An excellent view of the valley is eye-captured on every twist and turn from the wooden sloped location of Naggar which is famous for its ancient castles, temples, and Roerich Art Museum. On day 1, you will take a gradual walk through the Cedar and Pine forests, meadows, and apple orchards and later take a walk up-hill to the campsite where you will spend the night at Nawan Tapru.
  • Day 2 - Nawan Tapru to Chanderkhani (3500m) - 8kms
    Climb up to the top of the Pass to get unbelievably striking views of the Deo Tibba peak and the ranges of Spiti which is overlooking Malana. Trekkers will be camping near the pass on this day.
  • Day 3 - Chanderkhani to Malana - 7kms
    If you have researched well about where you are heading then you must be aware that Malana is one of the oldest democracies in the history of the world. The villagers of Malana claim that they are the descendants of Alexander’s army, which is why you can see the carvings of soldiers in armored dresses.
  • Day 4 - Malana to Rashol (2598m) - 19kms
    There is a steep walk from Malana to Rashol and once you reach Rashol on Day 4, you will get heartfelt and refreshing views of the mountains of Pin Parvati range.
  • Day 5 - Rashol to Kasol (1585m) - 8kms
    On this day, trekkers will descend to the campsite of Kasol from Rashol. Kasol is situated right next to the holy river of Parvati where you can find many chill-out and river-side points to just sit, relax, and unwind. From Kasol you can visit Manikaran to witness the hot water springs and few ancient temples.
  • Day 6 - Kasol to Manali/Naggar - 60kmsTransport by car, bus, and departure to Manali/Naggar.
