Poon Hill Trek
Trip Overview
The Annapurna mountain range in north western Nepal has been touted as having the world’s best trekking routes including Ghorepani Poon Hill trekking. The trek is starts from Pokhara known as Lake City with an amphitheater of mountains. Pokhara is a base for several treks in Annapurna, Mustang and Dhailagiri ranges.
Itinerary
Day 1 – Pokhara – Nayapul ( 2 hrs Drive ) Hiking to Tikhe Dhunga ( 1540 m )- Ulleri ( 1960m) (5-6 hrs )
Day 2 – Ulleri ( 1960 m ) – Ghorepani (2860 m ) ( 5 hrs )
Day 3 – Ghorepani – Poon Hill (3193m ) Early Morning – Ghorepani – Tadapani (2630 m ) ( 6-7 hrs )
Day 4 – Tadapani – Ghandruk ( 1940 m ) ( 4 hrs )
Day 5 – Ghandruk – Nayapul ( 4 hrs ) Drive Back to Pokhara ( 2 hrs )
