Trip Overview

Embark on the awe-inspiring adventure of the Manaslu Circuit Trek, a mesmerizing trekking journey that winds through the remote and untouched beauty of the Nepal Himalayas. This approximately three-week trek encircles the mighty Mount Manaslu, the eighth-highest peak in the world, offering a unique blend of natural splendor and cultural encounters.

Starting in the bustling town of Soti Khola, the trail gradually ascends through diverse landscapes, from subtropical forests to high alpine zones, presenting an ever-changing tapestry of flora and fauna. You'll traverse challenging mountain passes like Larkya La, which rewards with breathtaking panoramic views of snow-capped peaks and pristine glacial lakes.

The Manaslu Circuit is not just a trek, but a cultural odyssey too. The trail is dotted with traditional villages inhabited by various ethnic groups, including the warm and welcoming Tamang and Gurung communities. Immerse yourself in their way of life, learn about their customs, and relish the local cuisine.

The trek's allure lies in its untouched beauty, as it sees fewer trekkers compared to more popular routes, providing a sense of remoteness and tranquility. A special permit is required due to its restricted area status, contributing to the sense of exclusivity and exploration. The Manaslu Circuit Trek is a captivating journey that showcases the raw and unspoiled magnificence of the Himalayas while offering a chance to connect with the rich cultural heritage of the region.
