Trip Overview

Our Hampta Pass Trek is a perfect introduction to Himalayan trekking. On this five-day tour, spend three full-days trekking through the beautiful Himalayan landscape, experiencing the best this region has to offer!

The trail to Hampta Pass combines different sides of the Himalayas, namely Kullu and Lahaul, which are two adjoining districts in North India and are separated by the formidable Rohtang La, or Rohtang Pass. Rohtang La is usually snowbound between October and June, though there have been years where we've had snow throughout. Both the valleys are geographically quite different. The Kullu/Manali valleys are green with thick forest cover and heavy rains. However, Lahaul is in a rain-shadow area with partial Trans-Himalayan barrenness. This trail takes you to the top of the divide between these two great valleys.

Accommodation and meals are included in our package, along with other benefits. Please read on for more information.
